Adult ESL/EAL – Vocabulary and Idioms – Goals and Learner Needs

This is a vocabulary lesson for pre intermediate and above adult ESL/EAL learners

The lesson focuses on language needed to discuss goals and describe specific learning needs. This language is useful for any adult classroom situation, as being able to explain goals and needs is an important part of the adult learner experience. This lesson also complements some other lessons I have available on Goal Setting and Needs Analysis which I have linked to at the end of this description.

The activities will help to expand students vocabulary, increase flexibility in use of vocabulary and introduce students to a variety of idioms that can be used in this context.

Like all my resources, this lesson is designed specifically for adults. It incorporates language that adults will need to use and situations that are relevant to adult learners.
