Adult ESL Intermediate Reading +Writing-Christmas in Australia

This is an integrated reading and writing lesson for intermediate level adult ESL students. It is based around an information text about Christmas in Australia but expands to include other international celebrations relevant to the students in your class.
This is very easy to use, just print and go, no prep required except for printing. I’ve even given you the answers. I’ve included the last 2 activities as an extension activity for able students and requires a knowledge of the language of comparison.
This lesson could be used as
• a topic based lesson about Christmas which extends to other celebrations or
• as a lesson in reading and writing Information texts.
•You can use it all or just parts, up to you and the level of your students.
