Each passage provides an information report with a focus on: Description, Habitat, Feeding, Breeding & Adaptations.
Two differentiated reading passages, along with comprehension question and answer sheets for each of the following animals have been included:

Each slide has been labelled with either (1) or (2) to easily match the question-and-answer sheets with the corresponding text.
Multiple choice (literal) and short answer (inferential and evaluative) questioning to assess your students’ understanding of the text, their ability to draw conclusions based on the information provided, and to think on a deeper level by making links between information within the text, their prior knowledge and their values, have been included.
