Classifying Angles Identify Name Compare 4th – 5th Grade Math Revision | WARM UP Can your students identify different angle types? This engaging warm up activity is designed to help 4th – 5th grade students quickly recall and compare different types of angles.

This Classifying Angles Rapid Recall Routine will provide 7 – 10 minutes of engaging daily practice for your students to recite, recall and apply their knowledge and understanding of different angle types.

Students will recite and recall different angle types including acute, right, obtuse, straight, reflex angles and resolution. They can then apply their knowledge and understanding as they identify and compare these different angles. They will also learn that an angle is made up of two arms and a vertex and that they are measured in degrees using a protractor.

Rapid Recall Routines (Warm ups) are a quick way to recall, review and reinforce concepts to ensure long-term retention.

Rapid Recall Routines can be used to intentionally remind students of their prior learning, to introduce new content or to ‘switch on’ their thinking in preparation for more challenging concepts.
