Counting Money Bingo – notes and coins
$3.00
You know you’re onto a winner when the students ask to keep going with Maths after lunch. My students asked me that the other day. We were doing games for practicing counting money. One of them was this bingo game (you can see more games in my store). This is a really quick game for you to prep, just a couple of straight cuts on a guillotine and you’re ready to go. But the students love it! They can play it independently in small groups. It has a set of small cards they have to turn over and count the value of. I get them to take turns calling this out so everyone is practicing their counting. Once they call out the value, I encourage everyone else to check that they agree (add in a little more practice!) and then they can all search for it on their board. It is so simple but they just keep coming back for more. With ten unique boards, it is perfect for independent small group work.
This game is for counting collections containing notes and coins. Wanting games for counting collections with single or multiple denominations of coins? Click here or check out my store for other great resources.
