Counting Numbers 0-10 Finger counts
$4.00
This Maths Centre activity involves counting, recognising finger counts and numerals 0 to 10. The child can count the fingers in the picture, but soon they recognise the patterns. They can also learn to “show” a number using their own fingers. Great, easy to use Math Centre activity.
36 squares (approx 8.5 cm square) with an image of fingers at the top, and a choice of 3 numbers underneath.
The task could be to clip a peg on the correct numeral; but you could also mark with counters, markers etc.
Also use as a whole sheet activity, and ask children to circle or mark the correct answer.
Easy prep, just cut and laminate the squares, and re-use.
The black ink are more exciting printed on coloured paper, but there are coloured ink pages, if you prefer.
I have similar sets of cards with blocks, dice patterns, pictures etc, so having more than one set allows students to play matching games.
