This Maths Centre activity involves counting, recognising stick kids and numerals 0 to 10. The child can count the kids in the picture, but soon they recognise groups and patterns. They can also learn to read the pattern or groups and associate it with a number.
36 squares (approx 8.5 cm square) with an image of kids at the top, and a choice of 3 numbers underneath.
The task could be to clip a peg on the correct numeral; but you could also mark with counters, markers etc.
Also use as a whole sheet activity, and ask children to circle or mark the correct answer.
Cut and laminate the squares.
Great, easy to use Math Center Activity.
I have similar sets of cards with blocks, fingers, pictures, words etc, so having more than one set allows students to play matching games.
