ESCAPE GAME 04: Underwater Emergency

These Escape Games are designed for students aged 11 years to adult in the English classroom to come together as a team and communicate with each other cooperatively to solve puzzles and complete fun and exciting mission scenarios. Students need to combine their problem-solving skills to find the answers leading to safety before the countdown reaches zero.

Ready, set… GO!!!

Underwater Emergency includes:

1. A 30 – 45 minute game with a 3-part story and clue cards,
2. Instructions for the teacher as to how the game works and how to set it up,
3. Solutions to the escape game,
4. An alternative solution so students can play the game twice,
5. Creative ideas to extend the lesson by up to 1 hour to generate further interest, and
6. A Simplified version of the game for ESL/EAL and YOUNGER students.

Use this Escape Game as a 90-minute lesson in itself as an energetic way to generate a fun atmosphere and have students put their problem-solving skills into practice and work together to succeed in achieving a goal. The puzzles in Underwater Emergency require problem-solving skills to:

– Use logic and reasoning to label a diagram and discover the secret word,

– Arrange symbols into a unique sequence,

– Use maths and logic to assign values to letters.
