Foundation English Video Interview Task

Easily implement an oral communication task in your low-literacy English class with this Video Interview task. Ideal for Year 11 Foundation English (WACE), this task can also be used for Year 12 Foundation English and Adult Learning. This task is also great for preparing learners for the real world as it uses common job interview questions. 

This resource covers using speaking and listening skills as required in the Western Australian: Foundation English Syllabus. Students learn to use job-specific vocabulary, self-reflect on their strengths and weaknesses and decide how to shape their responses for specific audiences and purposes. 

NOTE: This resource only covers the interview task. It does NOT cover learning activities to teach about the job hiring process or how to present yourself in an interview. Teachers will still need to teach these skills before giving students this task.
