As a Muslim teacher working in an Islamic school, Ramadan is very special to us, and I wanted to share the beauty of this month through a resource that is meaningful, accurate, and classroom-friendly.
This resource has been created with a lot of love, care, and intention. It is designed to help young learners understand what Ramadan is and why it matters, while also supporting values such as kindness, gratitude, patience, and respect.
To ensure this resource can be used in a variety of settings, it includes two clear sections:
Mainstream-friendly section suitable for all classrooms
Islamic supplement for Islamic teachers, focusing on key Islamic values, manners, etiquette, and character (akhlaq)
