Grade 3 Subtraction Pixel Art Math | Digital Resource | Excel Spreadsheet Task

A fun, digital mystery picture activity on subtraction concepts that combines math and art. It’s a no-prep and engaging resource to use in your busy classroom. Aligned with Australian Mathematic Curriculum Standards, this digital activity will help save time as you build lessons that support students learning these number concepts. This Year 3, Subtraction Pixel Art Math Activity will get students excited about practising their knowledge of these number concepts! In this activity, students will practise subtraction facts using one digit, two-digit and three-digit numbers. There are 40 questions for each of the four activities.

To use, provide a digital copy for each student. There are four activities to complete, building in difficulty. Students must answer each question and hit enter. For each correct answer, a part of the hidden image will appear. A correct answer also changes the answer box colour to grey, providing immediate feedback to students. Questions can be completed in any order. The full mystery picture is shown once all the problems are solved.
