These Greek roots Science of Reading daily language review task cards will engage students in learning about morphemes. Each task card features 6 vocabulary exercises relating to a Greek root. There is a root word activity which focuses on word meanings and etymology. ➂ Circle the root of the word (a reading recognition skill)
➃ Build the sentence (use a Greek root word in context)
➄ Match the word to its meaning (deepen etymology skills)
➅ Word in a word (create words using the letters of a Greek root word)
