The example used in this resource is Year 9 History from the Australian Curriculum (ACARA, 2022) however, the process will apply to any other curriculum.
The topic used to illustrate the process is the Gallipoli Campaign. It is suitable to both teachers and students, depending on whom is developing the inquiry questions. Teachers may use this resource to develop student understanding of how to write inquiry questions and how this relates to the study of History.
The resource includes examples of referencing in Harvard and APA to support students in correct citing and referencing. This may be edited to suit individual school/subject referencing preferences.
