Greetings & Farewells / Konnichi wa & Sayōnara is a fun, activity based teaching resource, designed to engage and support students in the early years, who are not only new to school, but new to language classes!!

These resources aim to introduce key Japanese vocabulary and cultural practices through PLAY, where the children have opportunities to talk, share, observe, think, create, reflect and connect with their teachers, peers and the lesson content.

Greetings and farewells are integral to creating a welcoming, inclusive learning space where social connections are initiated and shared learning experiences are celebrated …. a wonderfully positive way to start the new school year!
