Macaroni Speech Marks

Students learn best when presented with creative ways to understand a concept.
With this task, students are presented with multiple sentences that are missing the appropriate required speech (quotation) marks. Students place the macaroni (because they look like speech marks!โบ) into the sentences. Students then copy the sentences into their books or on the provided recording sheet.
Instructions and 24 sentences using higher order speaking verbs are included.
Perfect for a Literacy center or independent station, students can work individually or with a partner.
