Maths Game for Mastering ADDITION facts

These printable math games are the perfect way to encourage students to use mental strategies to add dice, memorise addition facts and master addition facts. This is a set of 18 game boards: no prep activities for Math centres.
Roll and add! There is a Roll and BUMP version too, for extra fun.
Play with whole class, small groups or partners. It is easy to differentiate, so all children play the same game, but at a level of difficulty suited for each individual. This game allows you to cater for all abilities, by the number of dice students use. It is adaptable for most ages and abilities.
ABOUT THE GAME
- In the beginning students can use the two-dice game, so they’re adding number 1-12.
- Then they move onto using 3 and then 4 dice: adding to 24.
- Students are interested, so they learn combinations and how to add quickly.
- Learning strategies for quickly adding numbers has never been more fun!
There is a similar BUMP version too, whereby students can bump another child’s counter off the board. This adds variety, and helps to complete the game when playing with more dice.
The files are for black ink printing, so I suggest printing on bright, colorful paper, then laminate for storage and reuse.
