Maths Teacher Away Today
$3.00
Didn’t make it to work today. Don’t worry as this product will get your class readily engaged as they tackle the 1981 problem. In this activity students will need to make as many sums using the digits 1,9, 8 and 1 that equate from 1 to 100. There are some easy answers and some that will get your genius students brains over heating. No internet required for this activity, just a good old fashioned worksheet. A few examples: 1 + 9 + 8 + 1 = 19, 19 + 81 = 100, (1 + 9) x (8 + 1) = 90, 18 + 19 = 37. How many numbers can your students make from 1 to 100. (Each sum must have all the four digits used.) Please use the worksheet attached. The solutions are also attached. Good luck.
