These reading passages are perfect for highlighting for students how each morpheme can be in a range of different words. Knowing how to spell and read affixes helps with spelling and reading whole words. Knowing what they mean helps with vocabulary and therefore comprehension.

On each page, students read the passage and underline each word that contains the focus morpheme. There is space at the end of each page for students to write the meaning of one or two underlined words.
