Introduce NAIDOC Week in a gentle, respectful and age-appropriate way with the Little NAIDOC Explorers Pack by Mini Ed. This early childhood printable pack is designed for children aged 2–5 years and is perfect for preschool, kindergarten, family day care, childcare and early learning settings.

This pack supports young children to explore NAIDOC Week through listening, noticing, caring for Country, community, respect, storytelling, creativity, child voice, nature exploration and simple investigation. Activities are calm, hands-on and child-friendly, with plenty of opportunities for drawing, talking, wondering, reflecting and connecting with the natural world.

Instead, it uses general Australian nature-inspired watercolour elements and encourages educators to connect with local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families, community organisations, Elders, cultural centres, Land Councils and local NAIDOC resources wherever possible.

This resource is intended as a gentle early years starting point and does not replace learning from local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander voices.
