Natsu – Summer
$6.00
Every year during Natsu/Summer, Hanabi festivals are celebrated in Japan.
Hanabi is the Japanese word for “fireworks”.
Hanabi literally translates as “fire flower”.
Hanabi is considered to be the epitome of Natsu/Summer.
Fireworks in Japan are made by skilled artisans known as hanabishi. These craftspeople use techniques passed down from generation to generation,
to create the most beautiful and awe-inspiring displays.
Hanabi festivals are fun, colourful events where family, friends, and visitors gather together, to enjoy food, music, games and the spectacular fireworks.
This Early Childhood Education/Junior Primary focussed unit includes a wide selection of activities including deep breathing exercises, yoga, songs and action rhymes, Auslan (Australian Sign Language), games and STEAM activities.
These activities aim to entice, engage, support and educate little language learners of Japanese.
Enjoy your teaching,
Michailey
