This resource features decodable reading passages which focus on the NG phoneme digraph. Students are supported to read the passage and identify words that have the NG digraph phoneme. There are 4 comprehension questions to consolidate students’ understanding.

These reading passages and the comprehension questions are differentiated. There are three versions with variations to support differentiated learning in the classroom.

The decodable readers include words with the NG digraph. Additionally, these NG digraph reading passages include relevant sight words and NG phoneme words for pre-reading. This builds students’ confidence and word recognition.
