Persuasive Writing PowerPoint with Task Cards – Examples of Persuasive Devices

This is a useful introductory resource for any unit that focuses on persuasive writing. The interactive powerpoint has 14 slides that provide information about different types of persuasive texts and persuasive devices. There are 12 slides which have “pop up task card” tasks that students can complete. Printable versions of these task cards have also been included along with non-interactive and printable versions of the powerpoint.
