Want an easy way to add movement, fun and engagement to learning place value? Quiz Quiz Trade games are simple with virtually no prep, but increase engagement as children incorporate movement into a simple but effective learning activity.
How to play Quiz Quiz Trade
Give each child a QQT card.
Children form pairs and take turns asking each other the question on their card.
Once both questions have been asked, answered (and corrected if needed), students trade cards and find a new partner to go again.
Optional: To turn this into a game, give each child 4 or 5 pegs to clip onto their shirt. If they get the answer right, they collect a peg from their partner. (I play that they do NOT lose a peg if they get the answer wrong.) See who can collect the most pegs.
