Help the Pronoun Characters to pack their clothes into their suitcases. As a teacher, you can demonstrate some of the following sentences and get the students to follow your directions. They need to listen to the pronoun and the item of clothing, to be able to follow the directions correctly by packing the piece of clothing into the appropriate pronoun suitcase.

She wants her… (bathers)
He wants his (shoes)
They want their…(boots)
It wants its… (tie).

Targeted Pronouns – she, her, he, his, they, their, it and its

Target Clothing Vocabulary – pants, sunglasses, shoes, shirt, board shorts, underwear, hat, bathers, scarf, things, dress, skirt, mittens, jumpers, boots, shorts, belts, vests, tie, earmuffs, t-shirt, jeans, pyjamas and socks.

With explicit teaching, guidance and repetition, the students will be able to recognise pronouns and use them correctly.
