Predicting or inferring as they read is an important comprehension skill for students. It helps them understand and make connections as they read. Because many of these tasks are image-dependent they are ideal for differentiating for small groups or individual students. They make great activities for whole class or small groups: teachers can introduce the concept with a discussion of the poster.
These printable tasks are perfect practice for consolidating this reading strategy.
