This real world math project with the topic of Coordinate Planes, has students learning about location and positions in geometry in an exciting way. This is great for assessment or group projects. Students need to locate the city buildings on a grid plane to be able to takeover their partner’s city. They will have so much fun playing these games similar to battle ships that they will love math lessons. Students will be engaged and enjoy using numeracy in a real life situation. It has been designed for students in grades 4 to 7. Now suitable for home and distance learning with PDF and Google slides.
