Roll and Cover Spelling Game Play with any Words

These printable games are a fun way to learn spelling words. Students can play with any words: each player can use with their own individual list. This adds easy fun and interest to your literacy stations or centres.
There are two similar activities: students can either colour or cover the letters: your choice. Sometimes, you can allow students to choose whether they will cover or colour. Students write their targeted words on their sheet, and then roll the die to colour or cover specific letters in their words.
When students toss the die, they look at a Dice Sheet, which links the numbers with specific letters: they then colour or cover.
Included:
- 5 different dice sheets for colouring
- 5 dice sheets for covering.
- 18 black ink Colouring sheets, catering for various numbers of letters.
- 18 Covering sheets, for students to simply cover the letters with a counter or button.
The goal is to completely colour or cover all words before time is up.
The sheets are differentiated with the number of possible letters so caters for all abilities and needs.
