Seasonal Indices – VCE General Mathematics
Original price was: $7.00.$6.00Current price is: $6.00.
Seasonal Indices are an important part of data analysis over a time period. Generally students are asked about this concept in exam 1 (traditionally questions 15 and 16). The Seasonal Indices Power Point will go over an example where data has been collected over different time periods and how this data can be deseasonalised using seasonal indices. From this deseasonalised data a least squares regression line can be fitted. Finally we explore the ‘Reseasonalising’ of this data when forecasting events into the future. Also included is a TI Calculator program that is useful in easily calculating the seasonal indices from the raw data.
