Where the Wild Things Are – Picture Book Study for High Potential/Gifted Students
FREE
‘Where the Wild Things Are’ is a classic fantasy picture book by American author and illustrator Maurice Sendak. This resource was created using the Williams model of curriculum differentiation for your students who are gifted/have high potential. There are numerous ways that you can use these task cards! Here are a few ideas:
- You may choose to print off an individual task card and give it to your high potential students as an alternative activity to whatever the rest of the class are doing.
- You could print off all task cards and have high potential students pick and choose them from a box/envelope/wall display every time they are doing literacy learning activities.
- Assign on Seesaw or Google classroom for students to work on at their own pace.
