HOLIDAY BATTLESHIP Printable Game boards SPELLING and TIMES TABLES

Printable, holiday themed Maths and Spelling games which are great for centre activities. Fun versions of the game BATTLESHIP, which will make learning Spelling and multiplication tables more fun! I think the holiday themes add variety and take advantage of students’ changing interests. Printable, competitive centre activities or games, which allow students to quickly learn as they play independently.

What’s included? There are 30 boards: same game and rules: different holiday themes and appearance. The game and rules are the same: the boards are different to correlate with your topics and units. The only thing players need is a games board and a marker.

The SPELLING BATTLESHIP, is fantastic, because it will cater for all levels of ability, as each player can using their own individual Spelling list. Play with any words! This is a game for 2 players; each one needs a battleship game board and a spelling list. The rules are similar to the original Battleship game, except words are sunk!

The TABLES BATTLESHIP is a variation that focuses on multiplication facts. These board games are a fun way to assist students memorise times tables.

In the beginning students can play, using only one multiplication table, but in my experience, it is more challenging when they use more.

Playing in pairs encourages students to talk about their learning and I believe this sharing of ideas is vital to education..

This game will cater for everyone: all tables and all words!
