Maths Classics: Fraction of a Group has been designed to help stop your students forgetting concepts that you thought they knew!

Understanding how to express the fraction of a group is not a difficult idea for children to grasp. Because they seem to catch on quickly, there can be a tendency to want to move on to the next concept too quickly. This means we do not take the time to properly consolidate understanding.

These cards will give your students just the right time to ensure their learning is consolidated – and hopefully never forget again!

The extra, individual, high quality PNG files are for you to show the class on your screen/projector, should you desire.

Instructions:

• Print, laminate and cut into individual cards.
• Print student sheet and provide each student with a copy to record their answers.
• Distribute the cards around the room (or allocate your desired number of cards for use in a maths rotation or center)
• Check answers
