Mothers’ Day Fathers’Day Gift Idea

Cootie Catchers or Chatterbox for a printable Mothers’ Day and Fathers’ Day craft gift.

Students really love fortune tellers, chatterbox or cootie catcher, so why not use them for a fun craft idea for Mothers’ Day, Fathers’ Day and for any special person?

This is a craft, thinking, writing, drawing activity.

These are IOU promises or pledges that students offer as gifts.

The idea is that they can play with the mother or father, and end up on a promise to do something, as a gift.

I’ve included a list of suggestions to offer. This is like a book of gift vouchers, that can be used over and over.

Students decorate the catcher with items the parents likes and writes the promises, or IOU pledges in the centre.

There are instructions, and a QR code to watch someone make a cooties catcher, so this could be a centre task, with students independently reading, listening and following instructions.

 Some are complete with images and promises

 Some are almost blank, for students to think, decide, draw, write

Although I designed these for Mothers’ Day and Fathers’ Day, some catchers are suitable for Valentines, grandparents, or special gifts.
