Reading Fable “The Hare and the Tortoise” and Tasks

This is an Aesop fable, The Tortoise and the Hare, with printable text, comprehension tasks and activities, for your literacy centre. The activities include questions, predictions, opinions, vocabulary, morals, writing, figurative language to interest students to make connections, think and comprehend as they read.

There are also tasks encouraging Reading Skills and higher order thinking.
