Sentence Editing | Lower year levels

Use this set of sentence editing cards with your younger students to identify:

• Capital letter placement
• Spelling mistakes
• Full stops
• Question marks
• Exclamation marks

These can be used by printing and laminating full size or multiples per page. You could make multiple sets to be used by a number of students at the same time. Students can use whiteboard maker to fix the mistakes. Or alternatively you could project onto your screen for students to complete the editing in their books.

These sets could be used during whole class instruction, small group centres or teacher led reading groups.
