It’s that time of year again! Book Week is here!
Book Week is so much fun, but by the end of the week my year 1/2 class of 6 and 7 year old students are exhausted! Every year I make a new activity page for my class to complete after the big fancy dress parade when they need a bit of ‘calm down’ time from all of the excitement. With this year’s global events being quite stressful for young children, here’s another way to allow your students to relax, enjoy the special week that is Book Week and have a bit of fun. I always enlarge this page to A3, put on some relaxation music and let the students have a go. They seriously love it!
With a mixture of activities to complement 2023’s theme of ‘Read Grow Inspire’, I’m sure your class will love it too.
