A model PEEL/TEEL paragraph analysing the persuasiveness of the song 41 shots by Bruce Springsteen. Students are asked to identify the various aspects necessary to analytical/PEEL paragraph writing such as structural aspects and addressing the question. A highly scaffolded technique to approach literacy and writing, breaking down the important aspects required to answer a question and compose a well written text. Originally developed for a Year 9 class focusing on using persuasive techniques in different text types to persuade people on social and political issues.
