Base Ten Maths Activities Numbers 0-100

These are printable Math Centre Activities involving base ten blocks, units and tens: counting, understanding grouping or bundles of ten and colouring: numbers 1-100. These are Math centre activities, suitable for Kindergarten and First Grade.

What’s included? There are 94 pages, (some duplicates to give option to print black or coloured ink.)

• 60 cards (approx 8.7 cm square) with an image of blocks, and a choice of 3 answers, to match the number. Numbers range from 0-10, and 11-20.
• 120 cards with an image of outlined blocks: students need to colour a specified number. Sixty cards are 0-10: sixty are 11-20
• 40 cards with 10s, counting from 10-100. Students need to count and mark number.
• 40 cards with 10s, students asked to colour specified number from 10-100.
• 40 cards with blocks indicating numbers (units and tens) 10-100: students count write number that is represented.
• 44 cards with block outlines: students colour a specified number (units and tens) 10-100.

You can print and use whole pages as worksheets, or cut and laminate cards so they can a permanent resource to re-use in Math groups.

The difficulty increases, which allows teachers to differentiate and students to build on understanding and skills.

Sometimes the answers could be marked with a peg, button, counter etc or students can simply draw a circle around their answer.

I have also used as a whole sheet assessment activity, and ask children to circle or mark the correct answer.
