Book recommendation template cards

The best books to read are usually ones that have been recommended by others. I have so many books in my classroom library that I wanted a quick an easy system to get kids reading and thinking about what they are reading.

This download includes 4 different formats for book recommendations that allow you to differentiate for different ability learners and use them between a wide range of grades.

Simply print them out on either coloured card or paper (a colour that stands out for students to locate recommendations easily) and place them in your reading area for kids to take, write out and then put in the front of the books they have read.

Not only does this encourage students to read but it also encourages them to think and write about their reading.
