Compound Sentences FANBOYS – Which Coordinating Conjunction Do I use? Summer Edition

‘Compound Sentences FANBOYS – Which coordinating conjunction do I use? Summer Edition‘ is a chart I have developed which gives examples of each of the FANBOYS (coordinating conjunctions). Additionally, I have included a sentence which displays how to use each of the FANBOYS correctly. The last column allows children to write their own sentence using each one of the FANBOYS. The sentences are SUMMER themed.

You can use this as a teaching resource and explicitly go through each example with your students, or it can be used as a homework sheet to review the concept that they learnt in class.

I have included one coloured sheet, one printer friendly sheet with coloured writing and white backgrounds and one black and white sheet as well. Personally, I have enlarged this document and printed this in A3 to give the students more room to write.
