Reading Fluency Posters about Accuracy, Reading Rate, & Expression for Display

If you need a way to help students develop reading fluency, these posters are very useful. Reading fluency has three core components: accuracy, reading rate, and expression (prosody). It is important to develop fluency as it closely linked to reading comprehension. These posters, written in learning intention format, display reminders for how to develop each of the three components.

This product includes:

The posters could be used:

• for display on the classroom wall
• they could explicitly referred to by the teacher during reading instruction
• they could be printed smaller and kept by students in a handy place for them to refer to
• they could be sent home and/or shown to parents to help them support their child to develop fluency at home
• I have adapted them into bookmarks which can be purchased either separately or bundled with these posters. The posters and the bookmarks complement each other perfectly and will work to build a strong school-home connection.
