Easy print and go Spelling and Math activities for centres. Fun versions of the game BATTLESHIP, which will make learning any Spelling words and any multiplication tables more fun!

What’s included? There are 46 printable game boards, These are competitive centre activities or games, which allow students to quickly learn as they play independently. The only thing players need is a games board and a marker.

  • There are 16 general boards for Spelling and tables: same game and rules: general themes and look.
  • Plus 30 boards with holiday themes: Halloween, Christmas, Valentine, etc. Same game and rules.

Having both versions allows you to add variety and capture students’ interest in easter, Christmas, Halloween etc.

The SPELLING BATTLESHIP, is fantastic, because it will cater for all levels of ability, as each player can using their own individual Spelling list.

This is a game for 2 players; each one needs a battleship game board and a spelling list.The rules are similar to the original Battleship game, except words are sunk!

The TABLES BATTLESHIP is a variation that focuses on multiplication facts. These board games as a fun way to assist students memorise times tables.

In the beginning students can play, using only one multiplication table, but in my experience, it is more challenging when they use more.

Playing in pairs encourages students to talk about their learning and I believe this sharing of ideas is vital to education..
